Gamers who think unlocking the Ragnarok BattleMech™ is the end of what "MechAssault" has to offer are in for a surprise. Starting in January, Microsoft Game Studios and Day 1 Studios will begin rolling out new content for "MechAssault" via Xbox Live. Players with Xbox Live will be able to access the new content at no additional charge.
To kick things off, the first new multiplayer map will be "Hell's Kitchen," a dense industrial environment based in a fiery volcanic world that will support all five game types. In the weeks to follow, there will be several new BattleMechs, additional multiplayer maps and even new game types, including Capture the Flag.
"MechAssault" is currently available only on Xbox in North America for an estimated retail price of $49.99 (U.S.). For more information, visit http://www.mechassault.com.
