REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 29, 2002--Hit the links with Tiger Woods, 14 of his PGA TOUR(R) friends as well as 12 original design characters in the new Tiger Woods PGA TOUR(R) 2003 from Electronic Arts (Nasdaq:ERTS). EA, continuing its exclusive partnership with the PGA TOUR and the world's best and most famous golfer, Tiger Woods, delivers the most realistic golf simulation for fans of console golf on the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system, Xbox(TM) video game system from Microsoft and Nintendo GameCube(TM).

Compete on one of 12 exclusive courses including the home of golf, St. Andrews Golf Links, Pebble Beach(R) Golf Links, the Tournament Players Club of Scottsdale and newly named 2008 U.S. Open site Torrey Pines, or on one of three original design courses. Try your hand at "Tiger's Dream 18", featuring 18 holes hand-picked by Tiger Woods from the courses available in the videogame. You can also create your own course by choosing from the 216 holes included in the game for a customized course, your own Dream 18 that can be named, saved and played.

Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2003 has a new online feature that will allow players to compare themselves to the best sports gamers in the world: an online ranking system that prints your golfer's resume on the web and posts your scores and statistics on a Worldwide Leaderboard. Players can also compete in a new unlockable bi-weekly tournament via a password revealed at www.ea.com. Speed Golf returns in the game, providing a two-player race to the hole and SkillZone debuts, where you can buy a bucket of balls to compete in a series of mini games to earn points and money.

Play as Tiger Woods or one the 14 other PGA TOUR golfers, including Charles Howell III and Ty Tryon, two of the younger and exciting players on the PGA TOUR, as one of the six new original characters, or as one of the returning favorites like Big Mo or Yosh Tanigawa. CBS Sports' leading golf team, David Feherty and Bill Macatee, provides commentary. EA SPORTS(TM) TRAX features the music of Saliva, Paul Oakenfold and Ash.

Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2003 for the PlayStation 2 console, Xbox and Nintendo GameCube are rated "E" (Everyone) by the ESRB. Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2003 is available for the PC on November 1.
