The most prestigious computer games awards in Europe comprise the European Reader Awards, voted for by specialist magazine readers across nine countries; the Game of the Show Awards, nominated by a panel of exclusive European trade and specialist journalists during the show itself; the Game of the Year Awards, voted through the ECTS web site and the Media Sponsored Awards, sponsored by MCV, PC Format, Develop Magazine, Edge and PC Gamer Best.
