Press Release

Get Ready PC Gamers! Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder Will Hit Shelves by Oct.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - August 21, 2001

Ubi Soft, one of the world's largest video game publishers, today announced that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder mission pack will hit store shelves in October. Ghost Recon: Island Thunder was developed by Ubi Soft's Red Storm Entertainment, the studio that raised the standards for games with the introduction of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six series. It is the latest addition to the Clancy franchise which is expected to lead the holiday sales charts with the introduction of three widely anticipated new games: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon for Xbox and PS2, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell for Xbox and PC and Tom Clancy's Rainbow: Six Raven Shield.
