"Hitman 2 - Silent Assassin" Original Soundtrack CD
Posted by benadmin on Tuesday, October 15 2002

I would like to announce the immiment release of "Hitman 2: Silent Assassin - Original Soundtrack", a 65-minute CD of music from the videogame, composed by acclaimed interactive composer Jesper Kyd and performed by 110 musicians of the Budapest Symphony Orchestra and Choir.

The game "Hitman 2: Silent Assassin" is currently being marketed heavily by the leading interactive games publisher EIDOS.

The soundtrack CD is set for release 31st October, with pre-orders already being accepted from http://www.lynnemusic.com/hitman2.html . As of Monday 14 October, the first 100 customers that pre-order will get limited-edition copies personally autographed by composer Jesper Kyd.

"I have known and admired Jesper's work for more than 10 years, and I'm proud to have been able to be involved with the release of this awesome soundtrack CD", said LynneMusic label owner, Bjorn Lynne, himself a composer
and publisher of game soundtracks who shares the same background as Jesper Kyd, both of them having started up in the creative underground movement known as the "Amiga demo scene" in the late 80's and early 90's.

Jesper Kyd has composed music for interactive game developers including Bioware, Activision, Electronic Arts, Microsoft, Eidos, Shiny and Sega. He is currently working out of his own studio in Manhattan, New York.
