Shenmue 2
By: Blurred
Release Date: Winter 2002
Genre: Simulation
You are the young martial-arts student Ryo Hazuki, who is searching for a man who has murdered his father right before his own eyes. The game takes place during mid-1986. First of all there is a new feature where you dont have to sit around and wait for an event to happen, just press a button and go right to the event. The game is also much better paced then the original Shenmue for Dreamcast. Ryo will have the ability to practice marshall arts whenever he wants in open spaces - this will help you get used to the fighting controls and combos. You will notice that the story unveils itself right before your eyes as you progress in the game. Another neat feature is the ability to buy a map at a store if you get lost. The fighting in the game is also improved, and sometimes you will be able to see the action in 3rd person view. The graphics also fully utilize the Xbox. Shenmue 2 is exactly like the original Shenmue with new features and a whole new, continuing story line.
