The Terminator: Dawn of Fate
Reviewed by: MPD

In this game you play as many different characters in hopes of destroying the cyborgs created by SkyNet. They have already destroyed most of the planet Earth but you and some allies must try to make your way to destroy the SkyNet HQ.

Gameplay: You start your game as a character named Sergeant Kyle Reese. SkyNet has just found your secret base and now you must escape with General John Connor. Along the way of making your escape many optional missions are presented for you to take or leave. One of these missions is to destroy the base before SkyNet can upload any secret data you have stored. Once you have done this you switch your character into Captain Justin Perry a master of heavy explosives.

The game play in The Terminator is different from any other game I have played. You get a mix of 007 Golden Eye with a hint of Dead to Rights. You must destroy as many cyborgs as you can while doing the main missions and optional missions, sometimes these missions are hard and sometimes they are very easy.
During this game you get to use many different characters and many different guns (including the AP50 an automatic pistol, the PLM40 a fast firing plasma rifle, C4 explosives, canister bombs and many more)

Graphics: The Terminator may not have Morrowind’s graphics but which game does? There are some parts that many look realistic but the atmosphere the game places you in is not a happy town with trees and birds, it’s a world that has been destroyed, with twisted metal and burning flesh around you.

Controls: The controls are very straight forward and easy to use they most reminded me of Dead to Rights with the aiming and fighting. I caught on to the controls very fast and after a while they become very familiar and easy to use.

Replay: This game doesn’t really have any replay value once you have beaten it I don’t think you would want to play it again.

Sound: The sound in the game is great, all of the missions have great different sounds, noises, and effects. Even you shooting a pistol, or hurling a brick of C4 at the cyborgs. Even blowing them to bits has its own unique noise.

The Terminator is a fun game but not even close to Morrowind or other top games of the year.

Overall Presentation:
