Enclave
Reviewed by: MPD

In the game of Enclave there are two sides, The Light known as The Enclave, and The Dark known as The Outlanders. These two sides once lived side by side, The Enclave were the guardians of the sacred land filled with magic. Until the ruler of the Outlanders Vatar craved more power and sent his army to take over the land, it seamed nothing could stop him. Then a mage by the name of Zale came forth and slammed his staff into the ground causing a gigantic tremor which swallowed Vatar, his army, and Zale. After the tremor was done it created Gorge know as the Rift.

Gameplay: You start your game as a knight locked in a fortress known as Jellon Outpost. The Outlanders attack the Outpost and the door to your cell is blown open, you have to make your escape and find a weapon. Along the way of making your escape you find a Huntress who is also escaping for the Outpost. You both make your way out of the Outpost and to the Castle of Celenheim to report to the Queen. Once you get there she is hostile to except your information and does not believe you. She proposes you do a mission for her to prove your loyalty, and from here on you start your quest to get rid of the Outlanders.

During the game you find new characters to play as and all you have to do is help them or save them from dieing. In each mission there is a certain amount of gold you can collect, with that gold you can buy new armor, weapons, or magical staffs to cast new spells upon you enemies. In Enclave you go on many different quests. Some of them you have to infiltrate giant gothic fortresses, or go and assassinate people. Once you have beaten all of the Enclave’s quests you will be able to play as the Outlanders in completely new missions and fight the Enclave. Playing as the Outlanders is basically the same thing as playing for the Enclave except for the characters look different and the missions are different and much harder.

Playing for the Outlanders you start your game as an Assassin. You were summoned by Mordessa ( Vatar’s second in command ) to help her bring him back from the underworld. She tells you to go to Zurana’s Hideout and obtain Zurana’s Crystal. In this mission all you have to do is get to the top floor of Zurana’s mansion and get the crystal, the worst thing you have to watch out for is the deadly traps.

Graphics: The game of Enclave is truly a wonder piece of art. You can play outside in amazing forests and enjoy the scenery and journey into gothic fortresses or even voyage into the depths of fiery caverns. The maps are huge with endless space and each and every character is different in their own way.

Controls: The controls of Enclave are basically the same as Morrowind except for a few minor changes. You attack with the back right trigger and block with the back left trigger the buttons change your weapon and make you drink your potions. They may seem hard to use at first but once you get the hang of them they are very easy to operate.

Replay: Enclave is just one main quest but does have two mini games. If you missed any gold you can return to claim it. Enclave is a good game and it’s always fun to kill unsuspecting enemies, so you will want to go and play it again.

Sound: The sounds in Enclave are good, all the missions have different music. Even sound from sword’s slashing away at your enemies or spells being launched toward your foes, or maybe just you guzzling down a health potion from your last battle, they all have great unique sounds.

Overall: Enclave is a fun game which I could personally recommend to anyone who is looking for a challenge or just some plain killing fun. This game is a must buy!
