Dead or Alive 3
Reviewed by: Ben

Gameplay: Not only is DOA3 the most beautiful thing you have ever seen, it is the best fighter you will probably ever find. Apart from the stunning graphics of DOA3, there is fun gameplay. Even though the single player game is fairly short, and can be completed within hours, you are greeted with a new FMV sequence whenever you beat it with a new character. You won't even mind beating it several times, due to the fun of the game. The levels in this game have set the standard for all future fighting games. Where else can you kick someone out of the twentieth story window of a building and have them land through a neon sign? Not Virtual Fighter. Where else can you kick people off of cliffs on to other beautiful landscapes? Not Tekken. This game is a wonderful example of Xbox graphics, and gameplay. It really raises the bar in gaming. Another great reason to buy an Xbox.

Graphics: If you have ever seen screenshots or video of this game, you haven't actually seen the game. You have to play it. The graphics are jaw dropping. The character animation is lively and realistic; the worlds are full and interactive. The water looks like water, leaves fall from trees. Glass shatters onto the ground. Every aspect of life seems to be put into the atmosphere of the game. A true example of the Xbox's power.

Controls: Currently no rating.

Replay: The replay in this game is fantastic. There is nothing like kicking virtual butt on a Sunday morning. The multiplayer aspect especially adds to the replay of the game. More on that manner next.

Sound: The sound in this game is actually pretty good. With music from Aerosmith, you probably wont be annoyed. The music never interferes with gameplay, but it almost motivates you to play more. The fighting sounds are realistic, and there is plenty of grunting. A solid mix of sound.

Overall Presentation:
