Medal of Honor:Frontline
Reviewed by: Arucard Nataku
Have you ever wondered what it was like to be in the D-Day battle or what the secret prototype Nazi plane looked like. Well in Medal of Honor Frontline your put right into all the action.
Gameplay: Frontline is the newest installment in the famous Medal of Honor game series. You play as Jimmy Patterson, a lutineant in the United States Army. You start off landing on Omaha Beach and must force yourself into one of the bunkers and mark it to blow it up. You are then given the assignment to go find and capture to Nazi experimental jet plane,Ho IX. The games in Frontline are almost if not totally identical to that in the real World War IIThe downfall of this game is that the diffrent difficultys are diffrent from each other that all. The live black and white scenes from real short up to date movies during WWII keeps you up to date on what is going on.
Graphics: The graphics in Frontline are amazing, some of the best I have seen. Transfering this game from Playstation 2 to the X-box they brought the graphics up better. The way how the ground explodes and seeing bullets fly is something I haven't seen yet. A cool part about this is when you shoot a teammates head their helmet flies off which is pretty funny.
Controls: The controls of this game are easy to get used to. With conrols like MOH, MOH Classic, and my personal favorite Hail to Cheif which act like controls from Halo(Hail to the Cheif-Master Cheif, Get it???) the controls are really well and aren't touch sensative.
Replay: The replay value of Frontline is the only downfall to this game. Having only 3 difficulty levels this game gets bored after the 3rd time you beat it on every difficulty even using diffrent combinations of cheats. The Multiplayer function is the only reason why I am keeping this game in my library of games.Using diffrent combinations of gun selections and maps. The multiplayer allows this game to keep a mediocre replay score
Sound: The sound quality of Frontline is what I think some of the best. No lag time between your bullet shot and the sound of shooting and the bomb explosions and the impact of it hitting the ground, and the sound of bullets flying by your head or the people screaming when they get shot. Some of the music does get boring after a while. If only the customizable soundtrack was avaliable it would be better. Killing Nazis while listening to some Linkin Park. The world would be great.
