Have you ever dreamed of being a bug and hop around collecting eggs and zapping other bugs? Yeah, me neither....
Gameplay: There is really nothing to this game. Basically, just hop around and try to collect all of the eggs on that particular level, while also looking for other hidden things on that level. Of course there will be the occasional zap to kill an enemy.
There are 2 different main modes of play. The first mode is an arcade version, where you will unlock levels as you progress in the story mode. Arcade mode is basically story mode only you can choose the level and there won’t be any cut scenes or what have you. The only other mode of play is multiplayer so you can go out on your adventure with some friends.
Graphics: The graphics aren’t anything to drool over, but they aren’t bad, looks fine for the type of game that this is.
Controls: The controls stink. You will use A to zap which is fine, but you will hop around with the analog stick. Only you have to tap the analog stick each time rather then just hold it and hop. So it can get very annoying at times and make you just want to stop playing.
Replay: There is no replay value what so ever. You may not even want to go past the 2nd level. However, if you do enjoy it the multiplayer mode and the arcade mode may help you come back for more.
Sound: The sound is average. The sound effects go good with this kind of game, and the soundtrack though pretty repetitive fits in this game. Hell, the game is more repetitive then the soundtrack.
Overall Presentation: Overall, unless you’re about 8 years old or younger stay far, far away from Zapper.
